gps display

has anyone had a problem with the display on the GPS. Mine started glitching lately. The screen will go blank and then reset. If the radio is on it will continue to play. The map or nav will also come back in same condition. I am worried it's only the tip of the iceburg

I'm assuming you have the stock Ford Navigational System in your vehicle. Posters on various Ford Escape Hybrid forums have had problems with the navigational system while the hybrid aspect of this system is highly praised. A possible solution is to purchase a portable GPS system. Some posters have pulled the complete headunit and replaced it with aftermarket ones.
