Ford Escape Hybrid Problems

There are some reports on the internet about the rear differential on 4WD Escapes having oil leak problems. I think the 4WD FEH uses the same parts and mine has a minor oil leak. Check for oil on the black frame under the rear differential.

I took my FEH to the dealer for the differential oil leak. They said all it needed was having the bolts tightened. Seems strange that a new car would not have the bolts tightened correctly but that seems to have solved the oil leak.
