FEH navigation problem

My 2006 Escape Hybrid car's position information received by sensors seems to be out of sync with the GPS signal. On the map screen, the position runs forward much faster than the car actually does. Consequently navigation gets completely confusing. It synchronizes map position every 5 minutes or so, but runs ahead again quite soon. Can somebody help?

Since no one has responded to this post, I'm going to take a stab at it. I would suggest you try to zoom out some on your navigation screen. I'm thinking you are zoomed in too close which would cause a reaction like you're experiencing.
