engine knock, engine failure
Created October 18, 2009, at 11:12 am by gordomatt
The engine on my 2007 knocks at around 1500 rpm and has since it was almost new and the dealer has yet to determine the cause.
Now the dealer has discover that at 66,000 miles the engine is consuming oil and had only one quart left after 5000 miles since an oil change. Two plugs were fowled and the piston was "wet". Clearly there is a major problem with the engine which has not been opened up yet.
I do not know if the knock and the engine failure are related.
I will be seeing the dealer in a few weeks to see what he and Honda will do about this.
Anyone have a similar experience?

Thats Disturbing!
Clearly an internal problem such as bad piston rings or valve.
