Chevy Cruze-The Cobalt replacement with 40MPG

So Chevy announced their new small car that will replace the Cobalt, and some spy shots have come out of it, and it doesn't look half bad. What do u think of it??? At 40 MPG and 140 hp, it certainly outdoes today's economy cars. Here is a link to some pics beyond the one that we were shown the other day in the news section.

My understanding is that the Cobalt will be produced alongside the Cruze for about a year while the UAW union contract dies out and then it is just the CRuze from there on out.
