Burning smell?

I had my HCH for about a month now. Everytime I use it, it smells like there is something burning like towars the back of the vehicle.

Anyone else with this problem? Could it be the battery?

Man I feel dumb!! it was a peace of a plastic bag that was stucked under and was melting.
