blinkers and brake lights when connected

to towing package lights. I've had my hybrid for 6 months and were told it could tow up to a 1000 lbs and according to the owners manual it is so. Technician says Ford is saying you can't tow whitht the 06 hybrid. Our is 05. We have been having problems and they had to replace two blown fuses. They don't know what cause the initial one which rendered the car unoperable. Technitian believes the towing package is the one causing problems. Anybody having these type of problems?
