Auto door locks

I recently bought a Hybrid. I want to turn off the automatic door locks. The last 5 cars I have owned have either provided the information in the manual, or the dealer did it for me. The CH manual does not provide this option, only discussing choices of either auto locks when shifting out of P, or at 12 mph. The dealer has been unwilling to investigate how to turn off the auto lock.
Does anyone have any thoughts on this?
