I'm interested in power storage comparisons between batteries and air tanks. In principle, the aircar could be a hybrid too. Anyone have any idea how its efficiency could compare with a "standard" electric-fossil hybrid?
I think they are using a compressed-air-driven piston engine. Would greater efficiency be possible with a turbine?
Could such a turbine be made small enough and light enough to be built into the wheel?
