99 Expedition Out - 06 Escape Hybrid In

I drive the Winter Haven, FL Ford dealer's only Escape Hybrid off the lot for $31,190 today. The price was a tough pill to swallow considering that I think it was the only car on the lot w/o big price incentives.

As expected from reading online reviews and blogs, I had no choice on getting one fully loaded. The dealer gave me $1000 off msrp (32,190), still about $1800 over invoice.

Don't know how useful a heated mirror will be in Florida, but the moonroof is nice I guess. Fits wife, 2 kids and an english setter just fine (the setter lost most of the room, but does not seem to mind).

Been meaning to turn in my old guzzler for a while, Katrina finally sent me to the lot.

great news. enjoy it. i am jealous that the '06 has a moonroof. Like you, my dog (a lab) lost the most space when we switched last year.
