2008 Camry Hybrid pricing

Today on PR Newswire: "The 2008 Camry Hybrid is a better value than ever as its price point has been lowered significantly, making Camry and Hybrid Synergy Drive technology available to more people.... Camry Hybrid's base MSRP begins at $25,200, a decrease of $1,000 or -3.8 percent versus the 2007 model."

OK, I think I understand now: Seems that the 2008 Camry Hybrid price cut is just clever PR: the price "cut" is that they now have a base model that has fewer options. Details in:

I've ordered the 08 and await it's arrival. With leather, nav, heated seats & mirrors, moonroof, moldings and mats the 08 priced out roughly a hundred more than the 07 with the price reduction.
