2004 civic hybrid (manual tranny) mpg

Hello All,

My wife and I just made our annual trip from Santa Barbara to Carmel by the Sea. ( ~ 570 miles traveled) Fully laden with wifes luggage, dog and three cases of wine on the return trip, we averaged 50.3 mpg for the round trip which included some putting around in Monterey. So; the numbers as stated by the manufacturer are pretty spot on!!

Feeling good about this auto, really good.

Very nice! I just drove my 2005 HCH automatic to pick up my daughter from college. I went from near San Luis Obispo, up to the Bay Area with a bit of city driving, and over to Sacramento, and got 49.2mpg.

I too am loving this car. Hybrids rule -- all of them!
