'07 HCH Dash noises

Just got my new '07 HCH last weekend. I love the car, but I keep hearing this buzzing noise coming from the dash when braking or sometimes just driving along. I think it happens whenever the car is either charging or discharging the battery, but I can't be sure. I'm going to ask the service guys what they think. It isn't all that loud but it seems louder than it should be.

Anyone else is hearing the same noise?

Yes, the HCH-2 makes many little noises on a regular basis. They are not very loud especially when the car is in motion, but when the powertrain is silent at a stop light these sounds are noticeable.

While "Dash noises" are possible while braking, I would only be concerned if these became a little louder with time. In my case, I hear no unusually loud noises when working the braking system.

Having the dealership look at it is the best course of action.

I have also noticed this condition, but have had no problems.
It sounds like a normal operational characteristic, so I have not pursued it further.
If your uncomfortable with it. Then by all means have the dealer look at it, but don`t be surprised when they tell you there is nothing wrong with your vehicle.
