I have been hoping that ford will bring the 7 seater C-Max diesel here for some time now. Hybrid would be good too. I will be buying a new car soon but with no information I may not wait for a hybrid or diesel focus or Cmax and just go ahead and by a tdi jetta. Ford, are you listening?

I hope that thousands of other readers also request that the auto makers give them what they want – whatever that may be.
Focus groups and surveys can be manipulated to provide desired answers. Unsolicited requests can’t.
Personally, I’d rather see Ford come out with a PHEV pickup – my Ranger was great. Can you imagine the hauling capability that an electric motor driving each wheel and an ICE charging a battery could provide?

A suggestion for those who are frustrated with the automakers:
go to:

and get the customer care number for any or all automakers. Tell the operator: “no plug; no deal” tell them you want a plug-in and will drive your current car until you can get a plug-in.

I am frustrated: the U.S. market for plug in hybrids is HERE. Right now. That is what I am waiting on before I buy my next vehicle! I don't want the hybrids on the market today.

I can't believe I am alone in this. I'll make it simple just in case someone from a car company reads these sites: Every new hybrid should be able to be juiced from the wall. Have a nice little button for those of us who want to drive in EV mode only. Then it can switch to gas if necessary. Otherwise if I am within the EV range I can just plug it in at home.

I can't believe car companies don't see that people in the U.S. WILL BUY THEM.

(sigh)
