It’s an old, high-volume facility that Toyota walked away from because it was not competitive. While using it “might” get some jobs back, it would not be a showcase for what Fisker or any other EV maker is trying to do.

Toyota and GM have walked away. It’s Silicon Valley location may be just the ticket to bring new technology to the market quicker and at a cheaper price.
