Concur with all. This X6 would not be worth buying for 4 mpg improvement. The higher end manufacturers don’t seem to get it. I’ve had several BMWs. I miss the creature comforts, but would love to own something that lasts, rides good and is great on gas mileage. Bring back my 318ti, I’d buy it again….make it a true hybrid that gets 30/40+ mpg. Also, anyone know why years ago the VW Rabbit could get 50mpg and we don’t have any non-hybrids (that I’m aware of) that do that now? I would have thought 20 plus years later most all cars would be getting 40 and 50 mpg routinely….

I’ve had Porsches, and I’ve had lots of BMWs- but I’ve really enjoyed driving Toyota hybrids for the past four years. Sure my new Prius isn’t fast, and doesn’t have a luxurious interior- but I get over 50mpg. It’s just not about “me, me, me” anymore- for lots of people. I’ll get a BMW again when/if they figure out that feeling good about your car is not just about showing off.

I can’t really say I’ve ever liked the way this car looks. Judging from the reviews, it’s also not very practical. Let’s just hope that the hybrid version doesn’t diminish the X6′s only trump card – performance.

the 318d and 320d are available in europe. the 320d takes 5.5l/100km (dont now mgp…)

How about a 120d or 320d (d=diesel)? call it a CDI, a TDI or blue smurf eco mobile, just build it.

The 335d is a man-hog joke. This 6-lexus-coupe-whatever is a joke as well.
