Car Charging is again expanding its EV chargers network.
The company announced that its EV charging services are now offered at Florida’s Tao Sawgrass Condominium.
The property is located at 2681 North Flamingo Road in Sunrise, Florida and the EV services are located in the parking garage. This marks CarCharging’s first installation in the City of Sunrise.
“Offering our EV charging services at Tao Sawgrass in Sunrise is exciting because it continues to demonstrate CarCharging’s expansion of EV charging services at multifamily properties and in our own South Florida market,” said Michael D. Farkas, CEO of CarCharging. “We are pleased to offer EV charging to the Tao Sawgrass residents, and look forward to providing services at additional Crescent Heights locations in the future.”
CarCharging’s services utilize EV charging stations manufactured by ChargePoint, known as Level II, which provides 240 volts with 32 amps of power to quickly refuel an electric vehicle’s battery.
EV drivers can easily request a CarCharging account online, and attach a small card to their keychain to initiate use and payment at any intelligent CarCharging station. The CarCharging RFID card also allows drivers to use charging locations on the ChargePoint Network, the largest national online network connecting EV drivers to EV charging stations.
