So I understand that the DOE loan is tied into number of Karmas sold. It would be interesting to find out what numbers Fisker promised DOE. It sound like the 700 so far shipped is not enough to open the DOE purse strings. It is hard to imagine a deal that would be all or nothing. That is Fisker should not have to deliver all 2500 currently on the books or the 5000 optimistically predicted to get at least part of the money. If the figure was 1000 cars, I would think Fisker would be saying “we only have to deliver 300 more…”
