General Motors’ still-new revised Chevy Volt has for the third month in a row recorded a close-to-consistent monthly sales tally of 1,901 deliveries in May.
This compares to 1,983 sold in April and 1,865 sold in March, all within 100 units of one another. It also is better than 1,126 sales in February, and just 996 in January.
May’s Volt sales also are up 17.5 percent over May 2015, which despite last year’s weaker sales as the second-generation Volt was pending, were a relatively decent 1,618.
The new Volt has already switched to a 2017 model year, and is the highest all-electric range plug-in gas-electric car sold.
