As far as bio fuels go – switch to butanol it does not require expensive engine modifications and has an energy density closer to gasoline. Butanol can be produced in the same plants that are now making ethanol.

Also it uses vast amount of water in it’s production and makes food prices go up.

So then we are producing ethanol to reduce our need of foreign oil? But wait!?! We are now going to import some of our ethanol from Brazil?!?
Maybe it IS time to go electric…
