As it celebrates its first 100 days of operations in Toronto, car2go is adding 75 additional cars to its carsharing program in this Canadian city.
At the same time, car2go announced it has registered 9,000 new members within 100 days of launching in Toronto, Ontario. Including the newly added 75 units, Toronto operations now have a total of 325 smart fortwo cars available for car2go members to use and share collaboratively.
car2go shared data to the fact that Toronto members now drive an average of 3,000 times per week, and this number is continually increasing week by week. Trips typically range from 3 to 10 kilometers (1.86 to 6.21 miles), and they last between 20 to 40 minutes.
