Nissan announced U.S. pricing for the 2015 Nissan NV200 compact van, which is currently on sale nationwide.
2015 marks the vehicle’s third year of availability.
Nissan said the 2015 NV200 now offers America’s best commercial van warranty, increasing basic limited warranty coverage from 3 years/36,000 miles to 5 years/100,000 miles, whichever comes first. The powertrain limited warranty has also been extended from 5 years/60,000 miles to 5 years/100,000 miles, whichever comes first.
Enhancements to the NV200 for the 2015 model year are said to include the addition of new Rear Sonar and Sliding Door Glass Package options; updated NissanConnect with Navigation and Mobile Apps; a 1-mpg increase for highway and combined fuel economy and two new exterior colors, Cayenne Red and Graphite Blue.
The Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Prices (MSRP) for the 2015 Nissan NV200 start at $20,720 for the base S and $21,710 for the SV. Destination and handling is $860.
The 2015 NV200 is still powered by the brand’s 2.0-liter 16-valve 4-cylinder engine and Xtronic transmission. The cargo bay allows loading of standard U.S. 40 x 48-inch pallets.
Fuel economy is rated at 24 mpg city, along with 26 mpg highway and 25 mpg combined, stated Nissan.
No word yet on price for the electric version, the e-NV200, which his powered by the same electric powertrain found in the Leaf.
