I loved mine for 4 years then the battery troubles began, while still in warranty, but it didn’t completely fail and Honda didn’t stand behind it. Today I ponder replacing it for 3 grand and hopefully getting another 4 years (75,000 miles) out of it or dumping it and starting over with a regular gas aspirated engine.

The fact that it is a hybrid makes driving more enjoyable and affordable for me. In the past I have owned a used Honda Civic for 8 years, which was hard to give up. However, when something did go wrong within the car ,I never had a problem finding honda parts for it, which was a major plus when I was looking to purchase a new car. When I purchased my Insight I discovered a whole new perspective on cars learning about hybrids. I will never buy a non hybrid car ever again! More people need to become educated and learn the benefits of hybrid cars because it saves money and gas!
