		<description><![CDATA[In early 2010 I test drove one of these that was for sale here in metro Atlanta, when I was getting serious about buying an EV.  It was a good car but a little too small and anemic and spartan for my, uh, maturing tastes.  Then GM announced the Volt pricing including the lease (in late July 2010) and I immediately jumped on that bandwagon and haven&#039;t looked back.&lt;br /&gt;

These Solectrias were typically outfitted with lead acid or nickel cadmium batteries.  This article implies that Solectria outfitted them with lithium ion packs out of the factory, but I don&#039;t think that&#039;s correct.&lt;br /&gt;

Having a new lithium ion pack on this one is a big plus!&lt;br /&gt;
