I don’t have anything invested in Fisker (they’re not public) nor QTWW (yet? — they make the Q-drive) but I too am lusting after the Karma. I saw the Silver Wind one on tour when it hit Utah. The interior leather had gotten a bit worn where lots of people were getting in and out, and they had disabled the electronics, probably after people like me played with it elsewhere.

It really is very pretty. It’s a bit cramped compared to other $80k+ cars, especially in the back seat. The view out the back window is … well, typical of sports cars (i.e., not good). So I’d want the backup camera. I am still waiting to test-drive the thing before making any final decisions, and that looks like it will be a while, what with much of the first year’s production pre-sold.

So Robert, how much do you have invested in Fisker Motors?
;-D. A new comer to this site puts up a very positive 1st comment on a car no one can buy. I agree it looks like a beautiful car. I sure don’t have 87 grand to buy one. Oh and 100% comfortable? you’ll have to drive it on a road with trucks, buses and SUVs. I wouldn’t get too comfortable…Still it is definitely a beautiful step in the right direction.

I have seen the Fisker Karma – an artist dream, a well designed automobile. I have also had the opportunity to see the car inside and out and it is 100% comfortable. Fisker Karma is well worth the wait and timing could not be better.
