A lucky soul will get to drive a Porsche 918 Spyder plug-in hybrid over 622 miles to celebrate the company’s Facebook page reaching 10 million likes.
Porsche chose to hold this special drive through England and the lucky driver will be Ingo Georges Vandenberghe from Austria.
Ingo won the chance to be at the wheel in a competition hosted on the Porsche Facebook page to celebrate the landmark of reaching 10 million Facebook fans worldwide.
At each stage on the car’s 1,000 kilometers (622 miles) journey, Porsche owners and enthusiasts will be invited to sign the car, which has been specially wrapped for the occasion. The 918 Spyder will be joined by a Cayenne S E-Hybrid and Panamera S E-Hybrid; Porsche wants to put forward the fact it is the only premium brand offering three plug-in hybrid cars.
The 918 Spyder will be driven from central London and tour through Oxford, Wales and the Cotswolds before finishing at the Porsche Experience Centre at Silverstone. Porsche explained the route has been chosen to demonstrate both the power and efficiency of Porsche E-Hybrid technology.
